Graphic Designer-Creative

Job Purpose

The Graphic Designer-Creative is responsible to visually communicate messages through design elements, creating engaging packaging layouts that align with product goals. Collaborating closely with other team members, the role involves incorporating feedback to ensure final designs meet high standards.

Responsibilities

  • Visually communicate messages or ideas through design elements such as images, typography, color, and layout.
  • Develop packaging layouts that engage and inform, inspire, and captivate the target audience.
  • Incorporate feedback and revise work to ensure the final design aligns with expectations.
  • Meticulously attend to details, including color palettes, font choices, and image positioning.
  • Create professionally polished packaging designs that meet high standards.
  • Understand the specific requirements for both print and digital media, while recognizing the unique constraints of each medium.

Functions:

  • Branding and logos design
  • Packaging layout and montage (retail boxes, instructions, labels)
  • Photo Editing
  • Vector Illustration
  • Applying graphics on products and preparing files for the factory
  • Instructions sheets or book layout
  • Preparing technical files for the printer
  • Internal process follow-up

Qualifications/competencies

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Proficiency in photo editing and vector illustrations
  • Relevant diploma in graphics arts field
  • 3 years of experience in graphic design
  • Proficiency in English (oral and written)
  • Strong sense of visual aesthetic
  • Strong understanding of the color theory, composition, and design principles
  • Ability to work in a team or solo
  • Comfortable with tight deadlines, good time management
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once
  • Comfortable with Mac environment
  • Knowledge of 3D software is a plus
